Automatic detection and filtering of TV, radio, and podcasts

This might be trickier to implement, as I like when it takes notes for my audio books, but I don't want it to transcribe a TV show and make notes for me to do tasks mentioned in the show. It would be very handy if it at least can differentiate what its hearing in the conversation like "Summary from Audio book" vs "Summary from TV show" and not assuming I'm a character in that show.

I'd like to have an option that would tell the AI to attempt to identify speech coming from TV/TikTok/Radio, and have it removed from transcripts. If I take a phone call, and put it on speaker, or am having a conversation in a room with a TV turned on, and there's speech coming through from an unwanted device in the background, I'd like to be able to filter it out of the transcript!

Oh my God. Yes absolutely. I do a lot of you know thinking and creating in the evening and I generally have music playing in the background and don't always want to use my headphones. Also, sometimes in a restaurant setting it will pick up music. I'd love for that to be able to be filtered out.

I see my video game narratives included within meeting notes. How does the AI not realize hunger prevention grants does not fit with assasins creed game lore! Bump this to the top!

I have had a few surprises where I have fallen asleep watching the TV and when I woke up in the morning, had a summary of what I missed! Its a time saver, but yes it should stream it else where. The lates hack i have done is driving whilst listening to Podcasts. I get some great notes and follow up pointers.

Y'all have probably already thought to do this, but if not - it seems like there is a bunch of academic research on this topic.
Most of it is in software post-processing, but some research using additional sensors is of possible interest for v4 hardware.

Filter out background audio during transcription

I often dictate notes while the TV is on, and it's challenging when Fieldy picks up and transcribes the TV audio as well. It would be beneficial to have a feature that filters out background noise, like TV sounds, while I'm actively dictating. This would allow for clearer and more accurate transcriptions without needing to pause or move to a quieter location.

Ditto. In my free time, I continuously listen to various spoken word sources via speakers.
More details and possible edge case in my response to the current top request, speaker recognition, which maybe this should be rolled into.
