Transcript Segmentation (Merging & Splitting)

I need a way to mark specific spots in transcripts to separate summaries when something changes. Additionally, the ability to merge two conversations would be helpful. For example, when watching a lecture online and getting interrupted, I want to segregate the conversation with family and merge the two halves of the lecture for a summary. This would improve the organization and clarity of transcripts.

the ability to somehow link related transcripts over time. eg different days that are not directly before or after. so that related information can stay link easy for myself and fieldy

Splitting would be helpful from and API standpoint. Currently the API has a max return of 2000 lines. Often if there isn't a huge gap in conversation, it merges multiple conversations making them over 2000 lines. When using the API, instead of reading transcripts, it will default to summaries, which makes things a bit more grey.

This is definitely a must especially for team coaching when meetings might over lap or when a mistake is made on a stop/start. Had an example of that today. Family friend so not as big of a deal but he is a big deal lol and I def felt dopey having to put the transcript into something else etc...

Adomas Valiukevicius, is the splitting in progress, or under review? If so, are you looking at being able to split dialogue (editing the transcript) or just break blocks of the transcript off to merge with another transcript?
The example of splitting dialogue is when a block of the transcript contains two statements made by two different people, but the block can only be attributed to one of them.

Can the ability to edit the text in a transcript be incorporated into this as well? If I am merging and splitting transcripts this would be at the same time I would want to adjust, add or correct some text.

Jesse B i agree. ability to edit and correct fieldy in hopes of it learning for the future as well. when you have a family who are all Autistic the voices can blend because of mimicry and talking over each other. while I cant expect Fieldy to be perfect in a family environment, the ability to correct would be amazing. I started using Fieldy for personal use to help me figure out where I was going wrong with communication with the school or if I was even doing anything wrong.
having been through a life with an abusive mother, sister and then my partner of 26 years fieldy has made me realize most of my panic attacks were due all the gaslighting behaviour from the people who were suppose to love and protect me.
I wear fieldy all the time no matter where I am.

Not just merging and splitting a transcript, but the ability to split dialogue and label it. I often get my and the other person’s dialogue in the same block and it can only be assigned to one person..

I came here to request this same feature.
Split and merge conversations would be excellent for a number of situations.
Additionally, the ability to mark any conversation segments as "background noise" or just "delete" would allow me to remove things like background TV or radio which I don't need to remember.

Trim or split a recording. In real usage, conversations often drift, meetings end, side discussions begin, or unrelated topics flow into the same transcript.
Users should be able to trim portions of a recording or split a single recording into multiple distinct segments, each with its own summary and context. This would make summaries more actionable and accurate.

I would also find this extremely helpful for the same reasons. Even better if we can edit the summaries in any way due to errors.
